Mr. Tim Cook announced that all the models are going to get a very high resolution with Retina display, which will be able to allow a 60% faster graphic experience. the Upgraded version of MacBook pro will have a 2800×1800 pixel  density(220ppi) will provide best resolution. The Company CEO said that they improved their Safari browser, iMovie Apps and iPhoto Apps, taking new Retina Display in consideration.

The New Retina 15” MacBook Pro is 0.71” in its thickness measurement which is around 0.30” slimmer than the older 15” MacBook Pro. In weight it has a very small difference and weighs around 4.41lbs. Some features are missing in new Macbooks like FireWire 800, SuperDrive, ExpressCard/34 slot and MagSafe. It has the Magsafe connector but newer one which is different in size from older Magsafe, so have to use an adaptor worth $10 to connect your older Magsafe adaptor to Magsafe 2 Connector. New Retina MacBook also supports thunderbolt connectors and USB 3.0(also compatible to USB 2.0). Thunderbolt is a high-speed connector that states data throughput of up to 10 Gigabits per second per channel (Actually, the speed is dependent up on Thunderbolt device you connect). Due to presence of thunderbolt ports, you can avail two displays at the same time, one through thunderbolt and another via HDMI.
